A luxury small hotel and restaurant in Reeth has been placed on the market, with Colliers International marketing the freehold of the property for £1.1m.
The Burgoyne Hotel has 10 bedrooms, plus cosy lounges and a fine dining restaurant. Prominently situated overlooking the green in the tourist village of Reeth, which is located in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park; the grade-II listed property dates back to the mid-18th century.
Current owners Mo and Julia Usman acquired the property in 2011 and since have built up its reputation over the last five years. The owners now wish to move on to pursue other ventures.
Peter Bean, director, Colliers International said: “Reeth is situated on one of the most famous coast to coast walking routes and the whole area is perfect for walking, touring and cycling. The Tour de France passed through Reeth in the summer of 2014 and the moors are host to numerous other country pursuits, so the Burgoyne is in an excellent position to benefit from this tourist trade. The Burgoyne presents a marvellous opportunity for those seeking to purchase a high quality country hotel and restaurant in a beautiful part of the country.”
