£16m Durham hotel redevelopment edges closer to completion

The redevelopment of Ramside Hall Hotel in Durham has become one step closer to completion, after a new wing opened this month.

The leading north east hotel is currently undergoing a £16m makeover, and has now finished its latest phase after launching its new wing featuring 47 bedrooms.

The new bedrooms, some of which have views over Ramside’s championship golf course, all come complete with luxury bathrooms and can be sold as either doubles or twins.

The wing also includes two family rooms and two junior suites, with a luxury Presidential suite set to be available in the near future.

The hotel has also refurbished its lounge and main reception area.

Ramside’s £16m redevelopment will official be completed when the Spa at Ramside opens this summer, after a new golf course was launched last year.

Owner, John Adamson said: “The new wing is the latest stage of the multi-million pound investment at Ramside Hall.

“The accommodation is of the highest standard and is all part of our plan to make Ramside Hall a destination in its own right.”
