25-year-old’s boutique B&B a Winchester hit

hannah’s, a three-bedroomed boutique bed and breakfast has recently opened in the heart of Winchester and is already receiving five-star rave reviews from guests.

Owner Hannah McIntyre spent two years doing up the Hampshire property, previously used as a livery and then a dancehall. Each of the fully furnished en-suite rooms have been individually decorated and come complete with a range of luxury amenities.

Guests staying at hannah’s receive a personalised service including fresh flowers and chocolates in the rooms, a complimentary afternoon tea with freshly baked homemade cakes on arrival and breakfast complete with freshly made fruit juice and homemade jams.

Speaking to the Southern Daily Echo, the 25-year-old said: “I’ve always been around catering, working in hospitality in some way, and I really enjoy parties and hosting so I thought it might be a nice to open a B&B.

“I still get nervous up until the guest arrives and then when they get here I can’t stop talking to them – always baking cakes for them or chatting to them at the bar.”

Of 20 reviews received on Trip Advisor so far, all are five-star and praise the owner for her hospitality.
