Three restaurants that take residence at boutique hotels in the UK have made their debut in the Waitrose Good Food Guide’s list of top 50 restaurants in its new 2015 edition.

Popular celebrity haunt, London’s Chiltern Firehouse, Nigel Haworth’s restaurant at Northcote in Lancashire and The Raby Hunt in Durham have all been named for the first time in the guide’s prestigious list.

They join other restaurants such as Fera in London’s Claridges, Heston Blumenthal’s The Fat Duck and Restaurant Gordon Ramsay, as well as Simon Rogan’s restaurant, L’Enclume, which secured the top spot in the Guide for the second year running.

Both Northcote and The Raby Hunt boast Michelin stars, while Chiltern Firehouse is yet to be awarded a Michelin rating and was the centre of a media storm earlier this month when it received just 2 out of 5 stars for its hygiene rating.
