Szabo said: “I am extremely proud to be heading up the culinary team at the best hotel in Glasgow.

“I have a fantastic team of extremely talented chefs who will be integral in helping me serve some of the best cuisine this city has to offer and bringing my vision to life at Blythswood Square. I will be inspiring the entire team to reach their full potential as we strive towards an original, creative food offering for the restaurant and hotel.

“Scotland’s larder is bursting with the some of the finest produce in the world, including internationally acclaimed seafood and wild game. With our new autumn/winter menu launching in just a few months, I will be drawing on these abundant resources to create an aspirational, classic and in-season menu that’s bursting with flavour.
