Christie + Co has been appointed to handle the sale of the 73-bedroom 18th century property, which was built in 1760 as the private home of wealthy merchant William Reeve.

Arnos Manor Hotel is located close to the city centre in Bristol and has strong transport links, with rail, air and road connections within close proximity.

Alongside the bedrooms, the hotel also offers a glass-roofed courtyard restaurant, lounge, chapel and four conference suites.

The property still retains many of its Georgian gothic features, including the decorated Chapel lounge, high ceilings and panelling of many of the walls.

Jonathan Hill, director at Christie + Co’s Bristol office is handling the sale. He says: “Arnos Manor Hotel would make an excellent investment for an experienced operator looking to invest in the South West region. The site could also offer further development opportunities subject to planning.”

“As one of the most populated cities in the South of England and one of the strongest economies outside of London, Bristol is a hugely vibrant town attractive to both business and leisure visitors, and is just a short drive from the Georgian city of Bath – a World Heritage site.”
