Award-winning boutique hotel comes to market

A boutique B&B in Hornby, Lancashire, is seeking a new owner after being brought to market by specialist hotel property advisor Christie + Co.

The Castle Inn is a restored former Georgian coaching inn, offering six individually designed bedrooms in B&B-style accommodation.

The period property enjoys a peaceful position close to the splendour of Yorkshire Dales, Forrest of Bowland and Lake District national park.

All six boutique en-suite letting rooms provide super king-sized beds dressed with silk bedsheets and Egyptian cotton linen, high-quality toiletries and tea/coffee making facilities.

There is also a 50 cover lounge bar and a signature 30 cover bistro restaurant.

Keith Stringer of Christie + Co’s Manchester office is handling the sale. He says: “Castle Inn has been in our client’s ownership since 2010. Since then, the business has picked up numerous awards for the extensive work our clients have undertaken to transform the property as one of the area’s premier dining and accommodation venues, including Britain’s B&B Taste of Lancashire Award and Best B&B."
