Beaumont Estate transformation prompts new director hire

Beaumont Estate in Old Windsor, part of the PH Hotels Collection, has announced the appointment of Paul Duggan as its new venue director as the property undergoes an extensive refurbishment.

Duggan joins Beaumont Estate from Radisson Blu Edwardian Heathrow, where under his leadership, the hotel saw a 25% increase in profit and scooped a Best UK Hotel Conference Venue Award.

Now Duggan will be at the helm of the 414-bed hotel’s forthcoming refurbishment project and then be responsible for repositioning the venue in the market.

Duggan said: “I am delighted to join the Beaumont team. The hotel is going through an exciting phase of redevelopment with investment going into team expansion and aesthetic refurbishment. Going forward Beaumont Estate will be established as the destination of choice for conference, business and leisure guests requiring close proximity to both Heathrow and Legoland.”

Duggan has extensive experience launching and reopening hotels following multi-million pound refurbishment programmes; he has managed a number of large hotel and properties.

The four-star hotel, Beaumont Estate comprises 414 bedrooms and 75 meeting spaces across 8 zones that have been designed to hold a variety of functions, from conferences to weddings.
