Beauty rooms plan comes to fruition for Finesse Collection’s Derby boutique hotel

A boutique hotel in Derby, part of the Finesse Collection, is to open its doors to new beauty rooms in a partnership with top spa brand ila.

Cathedral Quarter Hotel will launch Calla Beauty Rooms in early June, after launching a social media competition for the public to choose the name for the new addition.

The boutique hotel, which is home to 38 bedrooms and an Opulent restaurant, will partner with organic skin brand ila, marking the brand’s first appearance onto a treatment menu in the East Midlands.

This new facility has also opened up several team member positions within the hotel, with successful candidates given the opportunity for training in the confirmed house brand, ila.

ila is already used at the likes of The Lanesborough, Shangri-La, Ritz Carlton and Four Seasons brands.

Luke Gregory, general manager of The Cathedral Quarter Hotel said “We are really excited to be launching the Calla Beauty Rooms this year as something extra for our guests to indulge in when they visit us. We’ve taken a lot of time to get everything right, from the refurbishment, to the name, to the world-class spa brand we’ve chosen to work with on this venture.”

The Finesse Collection a group of privately owned boutique hotels in the East Midlands, consisting of Donington Manor Hotel, Catherdral Quarter Hotel and Finesse hospitality.
