A £1m investment into Belton Woods Hotel near Grantham is to be carried out, after its owners QHotels revealed plans to upgrade spa facilities at the property, as well as residential features.
The hotel, which is set in 475 acres of countryside at Belton, will see a revamp of its leisure and spa areas at a cost of £350k, as the demand for spa and wellness has stepped up a gear.
Two new treatment rooms will be added, while a new relaxation suite, dance studio and spa cafe will also be designed.
A further £800k will then be spent on the hotel’s residential facilities.
This will include a £35k upgrade of the tennis courts, £14k to be spent on new patio furniture and then £10k on the modernisation of the hotel’s restaurant and bar area.
With work on the project now underway, the new look is expected to be unveiled by mid August this year.
Belton Woods Hotel general manager, Seamus Coen, said: “Wellness is very much on the agenda at Belton Woods and we’re pleased that this investment will enable more of our guests to enjoy the experiences as well as providing our membership enhanced facilities.”
