Following an extensive £1m renovation, Bespoke Hotel’s newest hotel, The Talbot has now officially reopened its doors.
The hotel, which is situated in Ripley in Surrey, has been given a new lease of life with all the bedrooms and suites updated, the bar and restaurant touched up and the property’s wedding and event facilities expanded.
The historic hotel started life more than 250 years old as a coaching inn, and has since played host to the likes of Andrey Hepburn to Lord Nelson and Lady Hamilton.
The Talbot is now open, with Michelin-star chef Martin Blunos in control in the kitchen in the role of executive chef.
With Blunos on board, the food offering at The Talbot has been transformed with a new menu comprising modern British favourites.
“The Talbot has always been a property brimming with personality”, said Graham Marskell, Managing Director of Bespoke Hotels. “We are delighted to have been able to bring out this unique character through a schedule of extensive refurbishment works, as well as an exciting new menu and dynamic team. We at Bespoke are looking forward to re-establishing the property both on a local and national level.”
