Two UK hospitality brands have joined forces to share their services in a bid to compete against the ‘trophy’ hotel groups.
Great National Hotels and Best Loved Hotels have combined in a strategic alliance to cooperate across a range of services to benefit their respective member hotels.
Both brands comprise a choice of three, four and five-star deluxe hotels and resorts throughout Ireland and the UK and share the same main aim of helping independent properties to gain a foothold above their big brand competitors without the associated costs or long-term commitments they carry.
As a result of the new alliance, all hotels within the brands will be able to benefit from a wider market reach and added value to their monthly membership fee.
Speaking at the announcement, sales director for Great National, Paul Abson said: “Our business continues to be founded on both product and service excellence. We are significantly accelerating growth, reducing costs and improving market reach for the hotels we represent, and we look forward to continuing to bring this same impact to all our hotels including Best Loved.”
Best Loved managing director Julian Ebbutt commented: “We are delighted to be able to work with Paul and his team to help drive awareness, enquiries and bookings to our partner hotels in Ireland, Scotland and Wales, as we have been doing throughout the UK and Ireland for over 20 years.
