A new collaboration between the British Hospitality Association (BHA) and the European Tourism Association (ETOA) has been formed, in a bid to better promote the UK’s visitor offering to international markets.
The BHA represents 40,000 members across the UK, covering accommodation providers to restaurants and attractions, and the new partnership will help expose these businesses to ETOA’s network of international tourism buyers.
The partnership will also promote cooperation on many areas of ETOA and BHA’s work on industry and commercial issues.
Martine Ainsworth-Wells of ETOA said “The UK’s constantly developing restaurants, attractions and hotels are of great interest to our international buyer network. The economic benefits to the UK of this partnership will continue to support Europe’s position as the world’s number one tourist destination.”
Ufi Ibrahim, CEO of the British Hospitality Association and the chairman of the Tourism Alliance said: “The UK has so much to offer visitors in terms of restaurants, hotels and attractions, and partnering with ETOA will offer BHA members access to new and exciting opportunities as well as an international buyer network.”
