‘Boutique beauty’ in Edinburgh embarks on new chapter with multi-million pound refurb

The Bonham Hotel, Edinburgh

A boutique hotel in Edinburgh has started laying the ground work for a multi-million pound renovation.

The Bonham Hotel has now unveiled its new-look 49 bedrooms and suites to mark the first phase of the extensive refurbishment project.

The work has been led by London- and Dublin-based luxury interior designer Nigel Howard, who has used modern fabrics and finishes to enhanced period features such as high ceilings and detailing.

Now the bedrooms have been completed, the restaurant and Consulting Bar will be next to go under the knife over the next few months.

Douglas Campbell, general manager of The Bonham, said: “This is a new chapter for the hotel and one which we are all very excited to be part of.

“The Bonham has claimed the hearts of so many of our guests who return time and time again and this multi-million pound refurbishment has seen our already stunning hotel, transformed into a truly sophisticated property.”
