Paradise House in Bath has been highly recommended by visitors to the UK from China, coming third in a poll released by Booking.com.
The results were determined by Chinese visitors to the UK who use Booking.com to secure their accommodation, and were revealed after the booking engine announced it has joined VisitBritain’s GREAT China Welcome (GCW) charter campaign.
Paradise House in Bath is an 11-bedroom quintessentially English Georgian guest house, within close proximity to the main tourist attractions in the city. It scored an impressive number of bookings for its style, professional service and attention to detail.

VisitBritain’s GREAT China Welcome campaign aims to properly prepare UK hospitality businesses for the influx of Chinese tourists expected in the next few years. The scheme will help these businesses to offer assistance to Chinese tourists and adapt their product towards this growing market.
According to VisitBritain, the number of visitors to the UK from China has doubled in the last five years and it is hoped that this figure will treble in the next six years.
