Boutique hotel stalwart capitalises on the wellness trend


Morgans Hotel Group, is launching a series of wellness programmes across its portfolio, including its boutique hotels in London, in a bid to capitalise on the boom in health and wellness.

The leading boutique hotel group has introduced a number of new initiatives to ‘take creativity to new levels’, including developing a new signature colouring book and partnering up with Mindfulness Everywhere to offer guests a series of in-room exercises to enable better wellbeing.

Available at the group’s London properties, St Martins Lane, Mondrian London and Sanderson, alongside the other global boutiques, Morgans Hotel Group has introduced a mindful colouring book for adults, featuring each of its hotels’ iconic design elements.

Created with illustrator Peter Arkle, the new book features elements from a handful of Morgans’ property, including the stained glass wall at Sanderson found in the hotel’s billiards room.

The book will officially launch in April.

The group has also announced a partnership with Mindfulness Everywhere and its buddhify app, featuring travel mediations created especially for Morgans’ guests.

The feature will be available to guests staying in suites and allow them access to more than 80 of buddhify’s meditation programmes. Alongside this, guests will receive in-room Mindfulness Cards with relaxation tips for travellers.

“Today’s travellers are looking beyond fitness to include all aspects of one’s wellbeing,” commented Morgans Hotel Group chief operating officer Chadi Farhat. “Morgans’ new wellness programming gives us an opportunity to tell a new story and attract a new generation of guests.”

In addition to brand-wide initiatives, a series of property-specific guest experiences are being launched to provide a local approach to fit-friendly lifestyles.
