Boutique hotels make the cut in top style awards


The nine hospitality establishments to make the final cut in the Hilden Style Awards have been named, with top boutiques in the UK in the mix.

The finalists have been revealed in three categories; Most Stylish Bedroom, Stylish Bathroom and Stylish Dining Experience.

With a record number of entries this year, the judges, who included Rod Nutter, commercial director at and Anne Britton, executive housekeeper of the Jumeriah Carlton Tower Hotel London, had their work cut out to narrow it down to just three per category.

Flagging for the flag for the boutique market was Artist Residence, Pimlico, a finalist in the Bathroom category and Cambium, the restaurant at Careys Manor in Brockenhurst, a finalist in the Dining category.

Yorebridge House, the five-star guest house based in North Yorkshire Dales was named in two categories, reaching the final three in the Bathroom and Bedroom category.

Rod Nutter, Style Awards judge and commercial director at said: “This year’s calibre was simply outstanding and all the judges came to the table with different opinions, it was difficult to narrow it down and actually took us longer than it ever has done in previous years to reach a decision.”

Rod continues: “The awards continue to grow in esteem year on year and attracts some of the most beautiful and stunning secret escapes in the UK. Anyone looking for inspiration or a staycation this year can definitely take note of our final nine.”

The winners of the awards will be decided at the judges’ lunch on October 12, at The Fable, London, one of last year’s Hilden Style Awards winners.
