The first guesthouse in Brighton to offer ‘boutique’ bedrooms 14 years ago has undergone an extensive refurbishment to give the property a new lease of modern life.

Nineteen, a 200-year-old Victorian townhouse in Kemptown Brighton, is home to seven bedrooms which have all been updated with new ensuite shower and toilet facilities, double glazed sash windows, new storage areas, internet connected HDTVs and Cambridge Audio speakers with Bluetooth technology.

The bedrooms have been designed in white with new dark oak flooring and works on local and international contemporary art featured in each. Each bedroom has also been decorated using ‘eco’ natural mineral paints.

Proprietor Mark McCullough says: "This has been a big investment, but Nineteen once again looks just the way we want it to – clean, sleek, modern and stylish, with touches of sumptuousness."
