Cairn Group launches 10-strong hotel portfolio of historic properties reaching four corners of the UK

Newcastle-based Cairn Group has announced the launch of a new hotel portfolio, with 10 properties stretching from the Scottish Highlands to Brighton.

The Cairn Collection is a group of hand-picked historic hotels across the UK, chosen for inclusion based on a number of criteria including design of the building, location and service.

The group consists of 10 hotels, with the three flagship properties being the four-star Stoke Place Hotel in Buckinghamshire, which was acquired in January 2016, Majestic Hotel, Harrogate and The Redworth Hall Hotel in Durham.

Naveen Handa, director, Cairn Group, said: “For our customers, the collection provides a brand which will give them an assured quality offer across the portfolio, with a strong focus on destination dining, customer service, historical properties and local knowledge. The collection also meets a need for soft hotel brands which give the opportunity for owners and operators to affiliate with a major chain whilst allowing individual hotels to retain their unique style.”

The ten hotels in The Cairn Collection are: The Majestic Hotel, Harrogate; The Redworth Hall Hotel, Durham; The Old Ship Hotel, Brighton; The Angel Hotel, Cardiff; Stirling Highland Hotel, Stirling; The Royal Station Hotel, Newcastle; Stoke Place Hotel, Buckinghamshire; St Georges Hotel, London; Cairn Hotel Newcastle and Cairn Hotel Edinburgh.

The Cairn Collection is part of the Cairn Hotel Group, a family-owned business headquartered in Newcastle, with 40-years’ experience in the industry.
