The Chester Grosvenor has appointed Gareth Jones as its new head chef who will take the helm at the hotel’s La Brasserie restaurant.
A former sous chef at the hotel for seven years, Jones moved on to senior roles at Bodysgallen Hall and Spa and the Midland Hotel, where he oversaw the launch of Mr Cooper’s House and Garden.
He has now returned to The Chester Grosvenor to run the popular La Brasserie kitchen. The restaurant complements the hotel’s Michelin-starred eatery, Simon Radley at The Chester Grosvenor, and offers a laid-back Parisian atmosphere for guests.
Jones said: “Fifteen years ago I built a relationship with The Chester Grosvenor when in the position of sous chef. So to return as head chef really is a fantastic opportunity. La Brasserie presents a fantastic canvas on which to paint.”
