A pub, restaurant and hotel is gearing up to unveil its fresh new look, following an ongoing transformation programme that has been underway since it was taken over in December last year.
The George Hotel at Braunton is due to reopen its doors on Tuesday April 19 after a £350,000 renovation project and an eight-week closure period.
The new look has been implemented by new owners OHH Pub Group, who took over the property at the end of last year and the refurbishment has been a joint investment between OHH and Enterprise Inns.
Mark Warburton, managing director of OHH, said the inside of the property has been completely refreshed and will help to complement the pub’s laid-back food offering.
The hotel will also be rebranded as The George Inn.
The family-run OHH Pub Group currently oversees operations at three pubs in Bristol and Bath and is preparing to announce the takeover of a fifth business.
