Chichester hotel rebrands to officially join Harbour Hotels

The Ship Hotel has officially rebranded as part of its acquisition by Harbour Hotels last November as part of a £6 deal.

The Grade-II listed building is now going under the name of the Chichester Harbour Hotel, as the coastal hotel group steps up its expansion across the UK.

Harbour Hotels purchased the property at the end of last year and is now in the process of refurbishing the building to bring it into line with the brand’s standards.

The Jetty will officially open at in the summer.

The hotel is also home to a private cottage that overlooks the nearby Priory Park.

At the time of acquisition, Mike Warren, managing director of Harbour Hotels, said: “We are very excited to be taking the Harbour Hotels brand to Chichester; it’s an exciting location and a key strategic position from our perspective. The Ship is a prestigious, landmark property with some outstanding features. There is an excellent team of staff at the property and we are delighted to have such an addition to the Harbour Hotels portfolio.”

The latest acquisition follows Harbour Hotels’ recent announcement of new properties in Brighton, Bristol and South Sands (Salcombe).
