Clevedon Hall is opening its 25 bedrooms to the public for the first time for a limited period, to showcase the property’s new look following an extensive £4.2m refurbishment.
The Grade-II listed building, overlooking Clevedon Bay, normally functions exclusively as a wedding and events venue, but is now making its bedrooms available for overnight stays during a two-week window from February 13-25, in a bid to introduce the property to a wider audience.
The property has undergone a six year renovation programme, which saw its bedrooms redesigned by Jane Clayton Interiors.
The ground floor rooms such as the Great Hall and Grand Library also underwent a transformation to return the hall to its former glory, with original historic features restored and furnishing in keeping with the property’s rich heritage.
Overnight guests will also enjoy breakfast the next morning, cooked by Clevedon Hall’s Michelin-trained chef Alan Jones.
John McCarthy, sales director at Clevedon Hall, said: “We’re really keen to showcase the beauty of Clevedon Hall to a wider range of guests.
“Previously, the only way to experience the delights of Clevedon Hall has been to attend an event here, which is why we wanted to run a short trial making our stunning bedrooms available for overnight bookings.”
