Co-owner of Generator Hostels moves on after nearly 10 years

Josh Wyatt, co-owner and chief strategic officer of Generator Hostels, has announced he is to move on from his role and move back to the USA for ‘personal and profession reasons’.

After 11 years at Patron Capital, owners of Generator, and the last nine years spent building Generator Hostels, Wyatt will return to the USA to explore a new opportunity in the lifestyle sector, starting in late May.

He has been an integral part of the boutique hostel brand since it exploded onto the market in 2007 and has since seen Generator grow from two properties, one in London and one in Berlin, into a booming innovative hospitality business comprising 12 hostels around Europe.

Wyatt said: “The Generator business, brand and concept have established a leading position in the innovative and dynamic space of design led lifestyle hostels, and I am grateful to have been a small part of that movement.

“I want to take a moment to sincerely thank Keith Breslauer & Patron Capital for the immense opportunity these past years. It has been an honour and privilege to work for Keith, Patron and alongside the Generator team to help develop the platform.”
