Prior to his time at COMO Metropolitan, Monson worked with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, both in London and abroad in Texas and the Bahamas, then a brief stint at The Stafford as resident manager before moving to the 144-bed COMO Metropolitan London.

He will now work to continue the success of the 41-bed The Halkin in Belgravia, London.

“I am thrilled to be the new general manager at COMO The Halkin,” says Monson. “This hotel stands out in a competitive city thanks to its incredible reputation for luxury.”

“David’s two years at COMO Metropolitan London have been incredibly successful,” said regional general manager, Thomas Orchard. “David has an enviable wealth of experience in hotel management, and will be a very significant asset to COMO The Halkin and its Michelin-starred restaurant, Ametsa with Arzak Instruction.”
