Corinthia Hotel was awarded the title of Best Luxury Hotel in London at the Luxury Travel Advisor Awards of Excellence, held in the USA last week.
The luxury hotel in the capital, situated on the cusp of the Embankment, was voted into the top spot by the readers of Luxury Travel Advisor magazine, who chose from a number of nominees who were carefully selected by an advisory board of influential travel advisors.
Corinthia London is the flagship property for the Corinthia Hotel Group, with establishments located in Malta, Lisbon, Prague and Budapest, among others, making up the rest of the portfolio.
On the same night, Corinthia Hotel London was also nominated for the Best UK Hotel category at the 2015 ULTRA awards, as voted for by the readers of Ultratravel, the travel supplement to The Daily Telegraph.
Corinthia London, in its fifth year in business, was nominated alongside Claridge’s, The Dorchester, The Ritz and The Savoy, which count 481 years in business between them, with the oldest, Claridge’s, taking the coveted prize.
“We are so honoured to be recognised in the company of London’s most magnificent hotels. Our thanks must go to our guests and their travel advisors, and to our colleagues at the hotel for executing our company’s philosophy of the Craftsmanship of Care,” said Simon Naudi, CEO of Corinthia Hotels.
