Fistral Beach Hotel has come up with an innovative new way to tempt guests to a trip to the seaside, with the offer of a rock star rider to complete their experience.
The four-star hotel in Cornwall is inviting guests to put in unique requests to the hotel prior to their visit, to be then left as a surprise as to whether a request has been fulfilled, in a bid to give guests a special and more memorable stay.
Based on the idea similar to celebrities or musicians who request certain items for their rooms, the riders can include anything from filling a bath with ice cream, creating a star-gazing den for two, or a chocoholics midnight feast and the hotel will choose to surprise guests with one of the treats on the list completely free of charge.
Fistral Beach Hotel hopes the initiative will encourage guests to fill their instagram pages with great shots and spread the word about the property.
Fistral Beach Hotel & Spa’s general manager, Laura Cameron, said: Exceeding guest expectations is a vital part of our hotel’s values, and creating fabulous stays is at the heart of what we do – so we are always looking for ‘out there’ ways to deliver those extra benefits.”
Laura continues, “we’ve had all sorts of fun and romantic requests and while we have had to draw the line at some of the more outlandish ideas, 75% of requests over the year are fulfilled.”
Fistral Beach Hotel and Spa is perched on the coast in Newquay Cornwall and is home to 71 bedrooms and laid back casual restaurants.
The hotel recently underwent a refurbishment of its Bay Bar, working with Cornwall-based, sculptural wood designer Tom Raffield.
Fistral Beach Hotel is part of the Nettleton Collection of Hotels, which includes Boringdon Hall and The Esplanade Hotel.
