Crown Prince of Thailand takes refuge at Hampshire hotel

The Crown Prince of Thailand is reportedly taking refuge in a five-star hotel in the Hampshire countryside.

Maha Vajiralongkorn and his royal retinue of 30 have taken over a wing of grade-II listed Tylney Hall in the village of Rotherwick, according to a report by the Evening Standard on May 23.

The news came as the Royal Thai Army, in which Vajiralongkorn holds the rank of general, took control of Thailand following six months of political turmoil.
