Dean Street Townhouse is seeking to strengthen its in-house kitchen team with the appointment of a new pastry commis chef.
The Soho boutique is looking to hire someone with at least two years’ pastry experience who can join its highly rated brigade.
The hotel promises “one of the most competitive salaries in the industry” and shift guidelines that encourage a work-life balance, but stresses that candidates must be “passionate and outgoing”.
Dean Street’s kitchen provides food for the property’s ground-floor dining room, which features a weekly changing menu of seasonal British cuisine, carefully sourced from producers within the UK and Ireland.
In addition to favourite dishes such as twice-baked smoked haddock soufflé, Dover sole and Porterhouse steak, the dining room is known for its classic Afternoon Tea with homemade sandwiches, freshly-baked scones and pastries.
