Deer Park Country House Hotel has officially unveiled its new Orangery, which is part of planned upgrade works being rolled out at the four-star boutique.
Nigel Wray, owner of the hotel and Saracens Rugby Club, launched the new addition alongside managing director Mark Godfrey, and now hopes the Orangery will open up a new stream of revenue for the property.
The new space can accommodate up to 170 guests and will be targeted towards the wedding market and those looking to host corporate events.
Decorated with floor to ceiling palatial arched windows and decadent chandeliers and complemented by distinctive mosaic flooring, the Orangery will become a major asset to the hotel’s business.
Alongside the new Orangery, the hotel has also revamped a number of its main bedrooms and garden and unveiled a new luxury thatched tree house earlier this year.
Commenting on the Orangery’s launch event, Mark Godfrey says: “What a fabulous evening! The weather was faultless allowing our guests to enjoy our foody treasure hunt around our manicured grounds. Highlights of the trail included wood fired pizzas from our Dingley Dell clay ovens, Thatcher’s Cider, locally-cured Good Game charcuterie and West Country hog roasts who flipped their mouth watering Venison burgers on the croquet lawn.”
