The south of England’s largest independently-owned hospitality group, Delicious Dining, has revealed it will use 2015 to build on its boutique hotel offering.
The company sold a very successful boutique hotel on the outskirts of Southampton last year, but claims that hasn’t softened its appetite for strengthening in the sector.
It currently owns the popular Ennio’s Boutique Hotel on Southampton’s waterfront, along with a host of restaurant and pub properties, and it sees the boutique side of things remaining an important part of its business.
“Southampton is currently enjoying an exciting period of regeneration and we are actively seeking new opportunities,” said Steve Hughes, the group’s managing director. “We will be opening a tapas-style restaurant in the first half of this year in the new Cultural Quarter and looking to build on our boutique hotel offering.”
This year marks Delicious Dining’s 28th year in business and after notching up sales of £15 million in the year to date it has its sights set on growth in 2015.
“The group has a large appetite for success,” added Hughes. “Over the past two years we have seen a growth percentage of over 12%. We know that that is down to our ability to offer customers a wide choice; evolve as and when the market dictates; have an integrated marketing plan and strong revenue management.”
