The Deer Park Country House Hotel is celebrating this week after a double award win, scooping its fourth star as well as two Rosettes.
The 32-bedroom boutique hotel in Honiton has won a wealth of awards in its extensive history and now adds these two special accolades to its bulging cabinet.
Deer Park has already been given Gold in the South West Tourism Awards 2015, Gold in the Devon Tourism Awards 2014 and Best Small Independent Hotel Employer 2014 and is known for being one of the top boutiques in the South of England.
Set in 80 acres of countryside, the 18th century Georgian mansion offers a huge range of activities making the most of its vast surroundings and is constantly evolving its offering to attract new guests.
Deer Park is also the first and only hotel in Devon to have accommodation in the form of a thatched luxury treehouse.
Mark Godfrey, managing director, said: "I am thrilled with this and so pleased that the hard work of our staff has been recognised. Deer Park is a special place and it has been an honour to restore this beautiful house into a sumptuous hotel for people to enjoy. I am looking forward to another busy year ahead with many wonderful exclusive weddings to come."
Derek Phillips, honorary secretary of the Devon Hotels & Restaurants Association said: "Mark and his team thoroughly deserve their new awards, Deer Park is a wonderful venue and offers exactly the type of high quality accommodation and service we expect from our members. We wish them our heartiest congratulations for these accolades."
