Devonshire Hotels & Restaurants Group (DHRG) has announced the appointment of a new managing director, Richard Palmer, who takes over from Simon Rhatigan, who has now left to develop his own business.

Palmer will now be responsible for overseeing the management of the group’s hotels and restaurants in Yorkshire and Derbyshire, which include the award-winning Devonshire Arms at Bolton Abbey and The Cavendish Hotel at Baslow.
