Eastwell Manor in Ashford has now officially reopened following its £8m rebrand by new owners’ spa specialists Champneys.
The historic Edwardian estate was acquired on a 99-year lease last year by the spa brand, before they took over in November and kicked off the £8m investment.
The hotel has more than doubled its bedroom stock, transforming from 23 bedrooms and 30 members of staff, to a 62-bedroom hotel with seven conference rooms, a leisure centre, a beauty salon and 140 staff.
Eastwell Manor was bought by the Parrett family in 1995 and opened under its new guise on April 14.
The aim for the hotel now is to make the venue one of the top ‘go-to’ spa retreats in the south of England.
