Eva Leigh steps up to take manager role at The Cavendish

The Cavendish London has appointed Eva Leigh as its hotel manager.

The luxury 230-bed London hotel, operated by The Ascott Limited, welcomes Leigh to oversee the day-to-day running of the Cavendish.

She takes over from Neil Braude who left last month to join The Bailey’s Hotel.

Most recently, Leigh held the position of room division manager at Kensington Close Hotel, where she was responsible for looking after the 709-bed hotel as it underwent a significant refurbishment over the course of two years.

Leigh says: “Everyone loves The Cavendish, it’s an institution with so much history behind it. As one of London’s most popular hotels with business and leisure guests, I look forward to being a part of that story. With plans afoot to improve the facilities and guest rooms, I’m looking forward to continuing the hotel’s success this year and beyond.”

Rebecca Hollants Van Loocke, regional general manager UK Germany, Georgia, The Ascott Limited, comments: “Eva joins our team at a very exciting time. Drawing on her previous experience, she has been brought in to provide stability and continuity to hotel operations as The Cavendish embarks on a series of planned improvements.”
