The Arch London has announced Eva Mount as the hotel’s new general manager.
Mount takes over from Michael Voigt who left the position last month to head up a new hotel project in Holburn, due to open in 2016.
Mount joins The Arch with a wealth of experience in the boutique hotel market, after spending the last ten years at Firmdale Hotels.
She moves from her position as GM at Firmdale Dorset Square, where she managed the opening of the five-star boutique hotel and its restaurant The Potting Shed.
Mount was also general manager at Firmdale’s Charlotte Street Hotel, and deputy general manager of Firmdale’s Soho Hotel.
She also has experience working at The Goring and with Hilton and Malmaison.
Commenting on her appointment, she said: “As a lover of great design and artwork I am excited to be working within such a beautiful hotel as The Arch London.
“Service is another great passion of mine, and I am looking forward to continuing the great work at the hotel. Having started my career at The Cumberland Hotel, only a few minute’s walk away, I am delighted to be returning to this prestigious area close to Hyde Park and the best shopping in London.”
