International hospitality group, Harilela Hotels, has revealed exclusively to Boutique Hotelier that it is to open its first property under its new brand concept, The Hari, in London this August.
Following a 58-year heritage in hotel development and management, Harilela Hotels will unveil The Hari in London’s Belgravia on August 31, bringing a new global hotel concept to market.
The Hari London will be an 85-bedroom, independent hotel with 14 suites and a ‘eclectic mix of social spaces’. The hotel’s interiors will be designed by Tara Bernard.
A new restaurant inspired by modern Italian cuisine is set to open in October, while the hotel will also be home to art work by Mario Testino and Tracey Emin, plus a library of books which guests can borrow from.
The Hari London will be the first in the new portfolio, followed by The Hari Hong Kong, which is confirmed to open in 2019.
Aron Harilela, chairman and CEO of Harilela Hotels, says: “For me this launch is the culmination of a lifelong dream to create my own hotel brand. Global travellers are deserving of a more layered and singular hotel experience which our team will deliver. The Hari will wholly encapsulate my values and reflect everything I love when it comes to design and service.”
Harilela Hotels is a global group, that currently owns and operates some 17 properties around the globe.
