Hotel du Vin will officially open the doors of its latest venture in Stratford-upon-Avon on May 1 2018.
The new hotel, spread across two converted Grade II-listed townhouses, will comprise 46 bedrooms and suites, featuring colourful accents, stylish wooden furniture and quirky artwork mix with the dark greys, teals and greens.
The Bistro will focus on home-style French cooking and will be situated next to an event space that accommodates up to 70 people, along with a two smaller private dining rooms for 10-12 guests.
The building was first acquired by Hotel du Vin in 2015 and has been undergoing an extensive refurbishment ever since.
Nicholas Jefford joined in November 2017 as the hotel’s new general manager.
“Stratford-upon-Avon feels like such a natural pairing for Hotel du Vin, we’re really looking forward to welcoming guests into the hotel,” commented Nick Halliday, chief operating officer of Hotel du Vin. “The team have worked incredibly hard over the last few months to ensure we can bring a much-needed boutique hotel and bistro to the area, which is befitting of a town with so much character and history. It’s the ideal base for visitors and locals alike to stay, wine, dine and meet in comfort and style, something we like to think the Bard himself would have enjoyed.”
This is the latest addition to Hotel du Vin’s family of luxury boutique hotels, and will soon be joined by another – The Avon Gorge by Hotel du Vin in Clifton Village, Bristol.
