Nestled in the heart of Stow-on-the-Wold, The Old Stocks Inn is a recently refurbished 17th-century coaching inn that blends Cotswold charm with modern, boutique style. Individual pieces of furniture give each bedroom its own character. Designer Jordan Littler utilised traditional materials, used in a different way to give a more contemporary feel. Home-from-home comforts can be found in every room, including smart TVs, Nespresso coffee machines and a complimentary soft drinks minibar. Dark, uninviting dining spaces have been given a complete overhaul, creating a restaurant that feels bright, fresh and social from morning to evening. Claridges-trained head chef Chris White fuses fine dining style with hearty, modern, British classics. His culinary ideas are as fresh as the interior, using local produce to create a feast. The bar is the main social hub of The Old Stocks Inn, and is given an old English feel with polished brass, off-set by contemporary shades of blue and green. Local suppliers are at the heart of The Old Stocks experience. As well as enjoying refreshing pints of Purity ales, guests can enjoy cocktails made with Chase Distillery spirits.
