The Hoxton Amsterdam is now taking bookings from 13th July. The first overseas property for The Hoxton brand and third in the portfolio, joining the original Hoxton and The Hoxton Holborn. The Hoxton, Amsterdam will consist of 111 rooms, designed by local Interior Design duo Nicemakers. Its new home is located on Herengracht canal, in what was once the Mayor's house in the 17th century. Rates for the bedrooms start at 89 euros per night. Some of the bedrooms overlook both the Herengracht and Singel canals, and the hotel is made up of a series of five canal houses. The rooms are designed in a style true to the Hoxton brand, with muted colours and on-trend, quirky fixtures and fittings. All the hotel's bedrooms, meeting and events space and restaurant and bar area have all been inspired by its local neighbourhood. The bathrooms give off an almost industrial feel, with striking bold fixtures and tiled walls. The bathrooms also have a slight Victorian air and go back to basics in a really stylish way. The heavy set curtains and light and dark contrasting colour palette make the bedrooms really cosy.
