Five-star Irish resort comes to market with €20m price tag


A leading five-star resort hotel in Ireland has gone up for sale by private treaty for offers in excess of €20m.

CBRE Hotels has brought Lyrath Estate Hotel, situated just outside Kilkenny City, to market and expects the tempting offer to be popular with both local and overseas buyers.

The new owner would inherit the entire estate, including the whole team of skilful staff.

The luxury five-star resort was first developed in 2006 and has become one of Ireland’s most popular wedding and conference venues. The property already has a number of forward business on the books for both 2016 and 2017.

The property consists of 139 bedrooms, a spa, golf course as well as multiple dining spaces to suit every occasion.
