Foster highlights quality refrigeration for hotel kitchens


The hotel sector has always been a cornerstone of refrigeration firm Foster’s business, with its professional back-of-house range synonymous with quality and reliability.

And now, with the ever-increasing popularity of its EcoPro G2 range, the company has recruited a new hotel business manager, Gemma Benlarbi, to ensure this important market sector continues to grow.

Benlarbi, who has been with the company for four years, and works closely with Foster’s hotel contract clients, says it is the company’s flagship range, the EcoPro G2, which hoteliers want in their kitchens.

Foster, which manufactures its range from its Norfolk production line, has seen growth in its share of the hotel sector since its £4m investment in its operating line, to house the new Eco Pro G2 range, launched in 2012.

The G2 range includes cabinets and counters with outstanding independently verified energy credentials, the most striking of which is the fact that the fridge model costs less to run than a conventional light bulb – less than £65.30 per year*.

This saving is thanks in part to the G2’s use of Hydrocarbon refrigerants as standard which are energy efficient and environmentally friendly.

Benlarbi said: “Hoteliers are keen to keep an eye on their monthly operating costs, so need high-quality refrigeration which doesn’t cost a lot to run, and the EcoPro G2 range answers this need.
