Four-star Merseyside hotel’s ‘significant’ turnover increase sees suite makeover plans in motion

A four-star hotel in Knowley in Merseyside is celebrating the last 12 months in business by planning a renovation that will begin in the new year.

Suites Hotel & Spa has had an impressive 2017, with a string of milestones and awards, including new senior appointments and the introduction of new treatments to its ‘Five Bubble’ spa, which has contributed to a ‘significant’ increase in turnover.

New operations manager Neil Sinnott joined earlier this year and has influenced the strategic direction of the 98-bedroom hotel, Handley’s Brasserie, leisure club and spa, plus the meeting and events facilities.

The leisure club also welcomed new manager Richard Sanderson, as well as a new restaurant and bar manager and a hotel receptionist.

Now in the new year the hotel is planning to begin a renovatiion project in January, with all the standard suites undergoing a complete makeover.
