Family-owned Foxhills Club & Resort in Surrey has appointed Sally Raith-Riches as its new director of sales.
Raith-Riches joins the 400 acre estate from her role as director of sales and marketing at Radisson Blu Edwardian Heathrow and at a time when ongoing investment is being ploughed into the resort under the guidance of general manager Jason Adams.
Jason Adams, General Manager of Foxhills, said: “Sally has an extremely impressive CV and is the perfect person to help us see our plans of ensuring Foxhills’ long-term future as one of Britain’s leading clubs and resorts come to fruition.”
Foxhills recently celebrated its 40th anniversary and has invested across all departments and increased training within its team. Golf membership numbers have risen and the club is on track to hit its membership target for the first time in 10 years.
The investment programme began in 2014 and has included the refurbishment of the spa and gym, as well as a major upgrade the hotel’s The Manor Restaurant, which was awarded 2 AA Rosettes and is aiming to secure 3 AA Rosettes in 2016.
Occupancy levels are up from 68% to 89% and Foxhills has been awarded four silver stars as part of a new rating system for the AA’s 2016 Hotel Guide.
Work has also just begun on the £100,000 refurbishment of two double-storey suites.
