London’s newest ‘hotel on the block’ is to relaunch in July this year and will join the Preferred Hotels and Resorts Group’s network of support when it opens its doors.
The Franklin Hotel in Knightsbridge has been undergoing an extension renovation project since 2009, when it closed its doors and it’s now been revealed it is to reopen in just over three months’ time.
The building has been converted from its original status as a Victorian townhouse into a intimate hotel with 35 suites, a restaurant, cocktail bar, study with open fireplaces, hammam and spa.
The hotel has been styled by lauded designer Anouska Hempel who has created a ‘whimsical world of finely-tailored details that pay tribute to Venetian splendour’ on a base of a silver and grey colour palette.
Preferred Hotels and Resorts has announced a total of 24 new properties worldwide scheduled to launch before the end of the year, which will all join the group.
