Freehold opportunity arises for Anglesey hotel priced at £695k

An opportunity to take on the freehold of a newly-refurbished hotel in Anglesey has arisen, available off an asking price of £695k.

Glan Neigr Hotel in Rhosneigr, Anglesey is currently owned by a consortium of five people and turns over £228,264, as a bed and breakfast that trades for five months of the year.

The current owners of the 8-bed hotel have been in place for 10 years and until 2015, had a tenant paying £30,000 per annum. When this tenant left, the group decided to take control of the building and refurbished the bar and bedrooms.

Owner Caroline Owen said she was ‘surprised how quickly trade increased and is still improving month on month’.

Lesley Watmough from Fleurets has been instructed to market the premises. She commented: “There is a huge capacity to expand this offering, which in turn should increase the business’ turnover.”

Anglesey is a popular seaside resort and is well known for its picturesque towns and villages and water sports, ranging from sailing, surfing and kayaking through to scuba diving. Much of the coastline has been declared an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
