A new spa and leisure development at a hotel in Cumbernauld in Scotland is helping the property become to the best four-star establishment in the region.
The Westerwood Hotel and Golf Resort recently finished a major new spa and leisure development at a new wing on site at the property, and unveiled it to the public last week.
The project included the addition of three new treatment rooms, a Rasul mud therapy room, a refurbishment of the leisure and spa reception area, relaxation chamber and pop-up dedicated spa restaurant.
The work follows a £250k investment in the upgrade of the hotel’s gym in December.
General manager Paul Bray said that the project was planned carefully to provide the ‘best customer journey and environment for both visitors and members’.
Speaking to Glasgow Evening Times, he said: “The product is outstanding and is something we can be proud of in Cumbernauld.
The official opening of the new leisure and spa area was attended by Scottish football legend Alex Totten.
