Galgorm Resort & Spa in Northern Ireland has announced the appointment of Patricia Tweedie to the role of group revenue manager.
Tweedie’s main role at Galgorm is to drive the business forward and grow revenue and her remit will be to work on the group’s new Belfast city centre hotel, The Bedford, opening in 2018.
She has a solid background within a revenue manager role, having worked for the multinational company Intercontinental Hotels for the last 13 years.
Highlights of her career include working as revenue manager at the four-star Clayton Hotel in Belfast and also the four-star Holiday Inn in Belfast. Tweedie has also worked in London as part of her stint with IHG at the Holiday Inn’s at Heathrow Airport.
She says: “I am looking forward to a new challenge, bringing my extensive knowledge of revenue management to Galgorm. It is an honour and pleasure to work with one of the best hotels in Northern Ireland. I look forward developing new revenue streams for the hotel and training staff in raising standards of service and hospitality to the best they can be whilst being part of the future expansion of the hotel.”
