He moved to South Lodge Hotel in March 2011 and then on to his most recent position as general manager at Bannatyne Spa Hotel in Hastings.

Rowledge says: “I am delighted to be joining the hotel at such an exciting time and look forward to leading the team at Georgian House and continuing the excellent work that has been done so far in developing the product and service that we offer to the highest standards.”

Owner Serena von der Heyde added: “Adam joins us at a critical and exciting time. The hotel has just undergone an extensive design refresh and we have recently added two Enchanted Chambers to complement our infamous Wizard Chambers. We are thrilled to have Adam in the team and look forward to seeing what he brings to the hotel to ensure we continue to go from strength to strength.”
