Biggest service bugbear? Being passed from one member of staff to another because it is not their area! Everyone should own the guest experience.

First job? 2 paper rounds – morning and evening.

Where do you see yourself in five years’ time? Hopefully, still at South Lodge and working on the next phase of development for the property. The Spa will be phenomenally successful and we will be building our lake lodges.

Biggest life lesson learned? Life is what you make it. Everyone has an opportunity to succeed, failure is but a state of mind.
Something I wish I knew before joining the industry – Nothing! Every day brings new and exciting challenges and opportunities and this is what makes the industry so exciting – had I known before it wouldn’t be a surprise.
